September provides pleasant weather for hunting. Elk are hunted primarily in the mornings and evenings, giving them a rest during the day where you can go fishing, take a nap, or stalk mule deer bucks in the open country. Whitetails are also plentiful in this area with a high buck ratio. This 6 day hunt can be scheduled for September 12-19; September 20-27 or September 28-October 5.
